Feel free to bring your own snacks, beverages, and snorkeling equipment on the boat tour. We also offer snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your favorites! Just make sure to keep it within the 10lb allowance per passenger on the flight.

Yes, they are allowed to bring alcohol but will be required to consume responsibly. Cans or plastic bottles are preferred please on the boat.  No glass.  Any overly aggressive or belligerent behavior due to alcohol consumption will result in the cancellation of the tour with no refund.  Please note that alcohol bottles will be considered part of the customer’s checked baggage at flight check-in.  Excess baggage fees will apply as necessary.  The passenger is responsible for following all customs duty rules/regulations.

The Swimming Pigs Day Tour typically lasts until mid-afternoon and includes stops at stunning sandbars, hidden coves, swimming pigs, and iconic landmarks near Staniel Cay. We offer various tours, and there is plenty to see around the islands! Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unfavorable, we may need to reschedule the boat tour for your safety and enjoyment. Please note that tours are not canceled due to rain.  However, in the event of extreme weather, the tour may be delayed or altered to accommodate a safe and enjoyable experience.  If it is not possible to visit nearby protected sites (Thunderball Grotto, Sampson Cay sandbar, Pirate Trap beach), guests will be brought to Staniel Cay Yacht Club to wait until conditions become favorable to continue the tour safely. In the event of tour curtailment after landing in Staniel, Staniel Cay Adventures will always make every attempt for other arrangements (by sea or land) to give the guests the best tour experience possible.   If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued for the boat tour portion. In the case of a tropical storm watch or hurricane warning in effect 48 hours prior, we do offer a rescheduling credit valid for 12 months.

Ticket Changes and Cancellation Policy

Please note that all tickets are non-refundable. No changes can be made to your ticket once you are within 48 hours of departure time. Should your travel plans change, please notify info@bahamasislandtravel.com immediately in writing and complete a Travel Rescheduling form.
* No change/cancellation fee for changes/cancellations made outside of 7 days before departure time.
* Within 7 days of departure, a $150 per person change/cancellation fee will apply.
* Within 48 hours of departure, no changes can be made. The customer forfeits ticket.

We understand that traveling solo can be a unique and rewarding experience. If no other individuals have booked on the same tour as you at the time of departure, a Solo Supplement Fee of $400 will be applicable. This fee is designed to cover the additional costs of organizing and operating the tour with only one participant. This will allow you to enjoy the tour on a private boat by yourself and prevent having to reschedule a time.

Yes! Makers Air provides complimentary valet parking for our passengers. Self-parking is not available. Makers Air is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or their contents. For after-hours assistance with your vehicle, please get in touch with Farber Parking at 561-774-0494.

There are no restrictions on age for the boat tours. Infant life vests are provided. Please always specify when infants/toddlers are booked. Children under 24 months on the date of travel flight pay only the required fees and taxes and are still required to have a ticket issued in their name. (Booked as a lapbaby).   Please note that lapbabies do not receive the 10lb baggage allowance. Should they have their own baggage, it will be weighed together with the parent’s baggage.
