Getting to Thunderball Grotto is relatively easy, thanks to the location of the Exuma Cays. You can either take a charter boat from Nassau or Great Exuma, or simply rent a boat to explore the area on your own. Once you reach the Grotto, you’ll be struck by the natural beauty of the cave entrance. The jagged rocks and spiky foliage deform the surface of the crystal-clear water and offer a dramatic welcome.

As you start snorkeling, you’ll find a wide variety of marine life. The crystal-clear waters make it easy to spot the colorful tropical fish darting in and out of the coral reefs. Besides the fish, you’ll also see a great number of other creatures such as sea turtles, rays, and even nurse sharks. These creatures are gentle and curious, making it a very safe and exhilarating snorkeling experience.
